@Monte restaurant and winebar features an innovative wine-on-tap system, which offers a selection of 56 different bottles of wine at any one time; the state-of-the-art imported equipment allows guests to choose a premium wine by the glass, or diners to select the perfect flavour accompaniment to each of their courses.
The restaurant is a Pandora’s Box of nooks and crannies, designed to accommodate different occasions and settings. From covered outside seating in the unique ambience of the Tuscan-style village, to private dining areas with vistas over the spectacular Piazza with its musical fountain, @Monte offers a venue unlike any in Johannesburg.

Designed by executive chef Bryn Raven, the menu offers two distinct options – the innovative ‘Tasters’ menu for light meals served either at the bar or restaurant tables, and the restaurant menu featuring a wide range of starter, salad, main course and dessert dishes.
TASTERS MENU
Veggie Tasters - including Haloumi skewers, Salad Caprese or baby marrow tempura.
Titanic Tasters - features prawns, oysters, mussels or squid heads.
Tongue Tasters - offers duck spring rolls, beef satay or chicken strips.
Fill the Gap Tasters - includes trinchado, mini burgers, petit grill or cocktail ribs.
A tasty selection of dips like olive tapenade, hummus and tahina features in the ‘Dips & Dabs’ and ‘Nibbles’ include biltong, spicy nuts, calamata olives or Danish feta.
For restaurant diners, the menu offers a selection of starters including chicken livers, oysters and calamari, and some fresh innovations, such as a salmon, tomato
and mozzarella tower, wonton stacks and New Orleans prawns.
Salads take on a refreshing look, offering pesto chicken, sun dried tomato and camembert, or a smoked salmon
and avo salad.
