As well as succulently grilled steak, poultry and other culinary delights, The Met’s wine list and cellars showcase award winning South African wines – the perfect accompaniment to our varied menu.
We also offer some of the finest Cognacs, Single Malt Whisky and a wide variety of premium Vodkas from Russia, France, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Sweden, and arrange tastings with a knowledgeable guide, whether formal or casual – specific wine estate tastings, vertical tastings, or single cultivar tastings – the choice is yours.
All this in a contemporary, yet warm and inviting ambience, to be enjoyed with friends and family.
We cater for special occasions, pre-theatre cocktail parties and business functions, with a choice of set menu’s which can be tailored to your requirements. Our restaurant includes a number of attractive sections which can be used to privately accommodate parties of up to 180 guests. We are also able to provide outside seating on Montecasino’s Piazza.
