March 2010 Satelite Tournament Calendar
All tournaments listed below are satellite tournaments for the 2010 Montecasino Poker Champs, to be held 26-28 March 2010. For every R15,000 within the prize pool, 1 seat to the Montecasino Poker Champs will be awarded. The remaining prize pool will be divided by the original buy-in for as many runner up prizes as possible.
Sunday 21st at 3.30pm

Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd at 7.30pm

- Prizes awarded as seats to Main Event are not exchangeable for cash
- All players must be eligible to participate and ID will be requested on registration

Tournament Times - Day 1: 19h00 to 02h00, Day 2: 14h00 to final table, Day 3: 14h00 to winner
Limited seats available - capped at 150 seats
Tournament Format - No limit, Texas Hold'em, freeze-out. No re-buys, no add-on's
Prizes - Estimated prize pool in excess of R2,000,000. Prizes will be awarded to the top ten (10) percent of players
Starting stack - 30,000 in tournament chips
Blind structure - Sixty (60) minute blind levels starting at 50-100
Meals - 1 meal per day of the tournament will be provided to players only
Complimentary refreshments - Water, soft drinks, tea, coffee and sponsored beverages are available to players only
Cash Bar - Cash bar available for non-players, as well as for alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages other than those specified above

Hotel Accommodation Rates
Special Rates for registered poker players at the Palazzo Hotel:
Standard Rooms
- Single occupancy = R 1500.00 per room per night, bed and breakfast.
- Double occupancy =R 1685.00 per room per night, bed and breakfast.
Superior Rooms
- Single occupancy = R 1750.00 per room per night, bed and breakfast.
- Double occupancy =R 1935.00 per room per night, bed and breakfast.
The above rates include Buffet Breakfast and value added tax @ 14% but exclude Government Levy which is 1 % of the total room's revenue. The quoted rates will increase automatically without prior notification in the event that the prevailing rates of either Value Added Tax or other applicable levies are increased or should a further tax or levy be introduced in the period between the date of the quotation and the date on which the accommodation is taken up in terms hereof.
Terms and Conditions
- Competition is valid from 2nd March - 19th March 2010. Only one entry per person allowed.
- Valid for entrants 18yrs and older. Valid only for South African residents.
- Winners will be notified via email/phone on 19th March 2010.
- Winners will be required to produce a valid ID document when collecting their prize.
- The winner is required to collect their prize before the start of the Main Tournament on 26th March.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash and is not transferable.
- The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organiser of the Competition, whose decision is final, and no negotiations and / or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
- By entering the competition, you agree to receive future correspondence from Montecasino, thereafter Montecasino will comply with all regulations of the ECT Act.
- Tsogo Sun employees and their immediate family as well as any external third party involved in the creation or design of this promotion, may not take part in this competition.
- Montecasino reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel and / or suspend any competition.
- The winner will be responsible for his/her own travel and accommodation to Montecasino to redeem the prize. The prize includes a seat into the event only.
