After the surprise success of their first outing which had delighted audiences cheering and booking in increasing numbers every day on their national tour - here comes the von Trapps - Mark II ! The ALL NEW, BIGGER AND BETTER - CIRCLE OF LIFE.
Fantastic new dance numbers featuring Ian and Viv include a beautiful and uplifting Evergreen as well as a passionate and thrilling Tango - Thru the Storm. Viv and Kasvia will do a beautiful mother and daughter pas de deux (You'll Be In My Heart) with choreography by the accomplished contemporary choreographer Celeste Botha. Oscar once again is the fire cracker surprise with a knock out hip hop routine and a foray into comedy with the history and origin of Michael Jackson's dance moves that has the crowds roaring for more. And as with any show featuring Ian, he gets passionate and virtuostic behind the piano - and then as one recent correspondent said it "he had me laughing harder than I have laughed for years" - where else does a man do the Mom song.
And together the family will be visiting the stylish rhythms of Gershwin and swing time, then penny whistling their way thru South Africa like a Los Lappie and ending with a touch of Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire.
