Dragonflies & Astronauts is a rock theatre production which is being developed complete with storyline, sets and characters revolving around the greatest hits of The Parlotones.

On the 16th of July 2011 ‘Dragonflies & Astronauts’ featuring The Parlotones - Driven by Volkswagen will be broadcast live from The Teatro at Montecasino in 3D. The transmission - a world first - will be beamed via satellite to 3D outlets around the globe.

The world first concept will transform audience expectations of a live show and is the first of numerous creative endeavours between innovative car brand, Volkswagen South Africa and the multi-platinum selling rock band, The Parlotones.

Known for breaking creative boundaries with their music videos, marketing strategies and live performances, The Parlotones will set a new standard in live entertainment. The partnership will see the high volume passenger car manufacturer and the iconic rock band join forces and set a new standard in creative marketing in 2011.
