The very popular local stand-up competition "Comedy Showdown" hosted at Parkers Comedy & Jive, is Nando's Jozi Comedy Festival's annual search for SA's new stand-up talent. With several "comedy heats" and a final show on the 28th of July, the winner will get the chance to perform alongside the international comedy heavy weights at the final performance of the "UN Comedy Show" on 1 August at The Teatro at Montecasino
