Mzansi Ballet presents its take on the classic Swan Lake
Mzansi Ballet will be staging its take on the classic Swan Lake. The ballet Swan Lake is arguably the world’s most popular classical ballet and for Ballet lovers the brand new Mzansi Ballet production will include the Black Swan pas de deux, the White Swan pas de deux, the cygnets, and the big swans.
The exploration of the character of the magician, Von Rothbart, will be performed by the acclaimed Naledi award-winner, Ms Cathy Specific. Brendan van Rhyn will form part of this exciting new production. The ballet will be staged and choreographed by Angela Revie and Liane Lurie and directed by Dirk Badenhorst.
